Virginia Licensed Class A Contractor. Roofing Services specializing in all Flat Roofs, Paint and Coatings; Repair and Maintenance of Historic Roofs including Copper, Tin and Slate in Old Town Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church since 1985.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Apprenticed with Historic Roof Restoration Specialist in Old Town Alexandria for Colonial Roofs from the 1600s back in the early 1980s. Worked on George Washington's home, Mount Vernon and other non-replaceable, historic, Federally preserved, museum-quality roofs from the Colonial era.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Ordinary roofers can't do what I do and I won't do what they do. I don't do shingles. I will not tear off and replace standard roofs. I repair and maintain roofs that are too valuable to replace and therefore must be repaired instead. Most roofers want to replace your roof. I don't.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have more than enough work to do in one zip code alone 22314 Old Town Alexandria right on the Potomac River because that's where the Colonial homes were built. Many of them have flat membrane roofs, tin, slate or copper--all of which are my specialty. I have worked in this area for 30+ years and have no need to expand.
