Homeless Shelter Services
New Hope Housing provides homeless families and individuals shelter and the tools to build a better life. New Hope Housing is the largest and oldest provider of homeless shelter services in northern Virginia. We opened the first homeless shelter in Fairfax County in 1978, and today operate 6 shelter programs, 5 transitional housing, and 5 permanent supportive housing programs, along with services that include case management, mental health and substance abuse counseling, education and employment assistance, a child services program, life skills classes, and recreational, cultural and social programming. New Hope Housing services over 800 persons annually, including about 130 children. On any given night, nearly 200 persons find hope and hospitality in New Hope Housing programs.
